News > Webinar: Cancer and how to protect our patients

News & Articles

Cancer is one of the most serious health problems seen today. The education of health care professionals and their contribution to the multidisciplinary approach of cancer is an urgent need. Education has been described as the most powerful way to tackle cancer (Lancet Public health 2024).

This Seminar is addressed to health professionals and aims to prevent cancer and how they will contribute to the protection of their cancer patients and survivors.

The Seminar begins with the changes and colors of the tongue, which may provide information for early diagnosis of diseases and especially cancer in other locations.

The next talk is about preparing the person before and supportive care after treatment.

New drugs, cytotoxic chemotherapeutics, coupled with the specifically targeted monoclonal antibodies (ADCs) in oncology, aiming to create a pharmacokinetically superior molecule, but also new systemic and corresponding oral toxicities is the next section.

Osteonecrosis of the jaws in people with a history of cancer, who take bone protection drugs and how to protect citizens from the above toxicity and complication, is the last presentation.

We believe the topics will generate interesting questions for fruitful discussion!
