CureCancer - mycancer.gr presented its success as an invited guest at the event organized by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) – Health hub for Greece, coordinated by the National Documentation and Electronic Content Center (EKT). The event was organized within the framework of the Morning Health talk events and the SymbIASIS program, with the theme being “Startups doing Pilots in Hospitals: A how-to guide! Success Stories.”

The event began with a welcome by Ms. Beata Kurucz, Head of RIS Cooperation, EIT Health Innostars, and Ms. Noemi Liber, EIT Health HUB Hungary and Mr. Georgios Megas, EIT Health Hub Coordinator EKT.

Professor Amanda Psyrri, of Attikon Hospital and guest of honor, together with Professors Mr. Efthimios Avgerinos of Attikon Hospital and Mr. Panos Varda from Hygeia Hospital spoke about the advantages of connecting with Startups and the positive results in Hospitals "as seen by Hospitals".

CureCancer - mycancer.gr is a Reference Center for people with cancer experience and Provides specialized, holistic supportive cancer care. It has developed a Questionnaire, as a Tool, for the assessment of patients' needs, with the aim of increasing the accuracy and efficiency of Health policy.

EKT 

The National Documentation Center of Greece – EKT is the coordinator of the Greek node of the Enterprise Europe Network – Hellas (EEN-Hellas), the largest business support network in the world, and the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe and more specifically for Cluster 1 Health 4 Digital as well as Marie Curie Actions. 

SymbIASIS

The SymbIASIS project is being carried out by the National Documentation Center (EKT) in its role as a Hub of EIT Health in Greece, with the support of the Archimedes Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of NKUA.

The project aims to cover the need to connect Hospitals with startups in the sector so that hospitals can be modernized, digitally transformed with open innovation methods and/or Innovation procurement. At the same time Startups can validate their technological solutions in a real environment with pilot or pre-pilot tests.
