The webinar titled "Prevention, Early Diagnosis, Support & Care in Cancer" will be held online on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..

This is part of the highly successful annual series of webinars, now in its 5th year, designed to inform and educate healthcare professionals on issues related to cancer prevention and support for patients.

Webinar Overview

This educational initiative addresses modern approaches to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and management, offering healthcare professionals the knowledge they need to help cancer patients live better lives.

The program is designed to enhance the contribution of the multidisciplinary therapeutic team and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Studies highlight that effective cancer care often requires input from multiple specialties:

For example, 122 patients with head and neck cancer required the involvement of 29 different health specialties during their treatment.

  • Jaw osteonecrosis in patients receiving antiresorptive and non-antiresorptive medications.

  • Dental care for head and neck cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy.

    • How can we support their nutrition, sleep, and mental health when pain and dry mouth are issues?
